Next up on Wonder and Wander’s Summer Fun Bucket List:
Go Jump in a Lake!

I don’t know about you, but as school wraps up and the summer temperatures start rising, there’s one question I start to hear frequently: “When are we going to the lake?” After all, sunny days at the lake are one of the quintessential summer childhood activities for kids growing up in Michigan.
As a parent though, lake visits aren’t always the easiest or most fun to tackle. So much to pack, so much to haul, and so much sunscreen to apply! One thing that makes lake visits a little easier to manage are all of the fantastic lakes we have access to in Jackson County. We’ll be diving into our lake reviews to share with you all of the important information you need to know to make your visits as easy as 1, 2, 3, CANNONBALL!
We’ll be highlighting our favorite lake tomorrow here on the adventure blog, so make sure the swimming suits and towels are clean, and the sand toys are packed because we know as soon as you read about this location, you’ll be heading there ASAP! Then, be sure to check back throughout the rest of the summer to see the other lake gems we will be highlighting.
Happy swimming, friends!
