Next up on Wonder and Wander’s Summer Fun Bucket List:
Play at a Park!
Let’s kick this topic off with a fun little history lesson. Parks are the initial reason that I even considered starting up Wonder and Wander – Jackson. While I know we have many parks surrounding us, sometimes just finding them is half the battle. There’s nothing more frustrating than trying to find information and addresses for our local parks, only to come up with not a whole lot of information (thanks google). Imagine my excitement when I leaped headfirst into creating Wonder and Wander and found out that others had been dreaming of having a resource like this for Jackson County as well!

With the end of the school year just around the corner, park outings are a fun staple all summer long. Our park reviews will be informative, and will you provide you with all of the information you need to confidently adventure to the park with your crew.
Throughout June and July, we’ll be reviewing a handful of parks that are a little more off the beaten path, and a little less well known than others in Jackson County. The parks we chose for this first round of reviews offer a little something for everyone, and they are all super kid-friendly. But don’t worry, we’ll be continuing with our park reviews even once we wrap up the Summer Fun Bucket List. So many parks, so little time.

Our “Top Kid-friendly Parks to Visit This Summer” schedule is as follows:

- East Jackson Elementary Playground – click here to read
- Grass Lake Park – click here to read

I can’t wait to share more about these amazing locations with you. Happy playing, friends!
