When the summer temperatures are rising and you want to cool off, there’s nothing better than a visit to the Splash Pad at The Cascades! Constructed in 2017, the Splash Pad is perfect for all ages and offers you everything from staying dry to getting completely soaked!

Location Name: Splash Pad at The Cascades
Address: 1401 S Brown St, Jackson, MI 49203
Why we love it: The Splash Pad is a fun place to play and offers a different type of experience than going swimming
Features: More than a dozen water features, including a giant dumping bucket, and a toddler play area. The area is fenced in and also has lounge chairs, a patio area, and concessions available for purchase
“Big’s Review”: The Splash Pad is a really fun place! Make sure to be standing in the middle when the bucket tips so you can get wet. The sprayers that you can move around are really nice for a water battle.
Elizabeth’s Suggestion: After you’ve tired the kids out with splashing fun, drive around the corner to the Cascades Ice Cream Co for a delicious sweet treat!

Closing Review: The Splash Pad at The Cascades is the perfect place for an afternoon outing. Just one warning: the water is cold, as it is not heated at all. Big didn’t mind this at all when we visited, and Little didn’t get too wet, so it was a non-issue for us, but this is the biggest complaint we hear about this location.
