Welcome to Wonder and Wander’s Guide to Fall Fun in Jackson County. We’ll be highlighting some of our favorite spots throughout October, and handing out some “awards” along the way – so check back often!
When we first moved back to Michigan and the leaves were beginning to change colors, I started looking for a toddler-friendly pumpkin patch in the Jackson County area that had my two non-negotiables: a hayride and a field full of pumpkins. I wanted a patch pumpkin patch that wasn’t too overwhelming for Big (he was almost three at the time), that wasn’t too crowded, and that wasn’t too pricey.
After trying out a few other local spots, we discovered Pregitzer Farm Market, and as they say, the rest is history.
With a free hay-ride to the u-pick pumpkin field, reasonable prices, and other attractions for visitors of all ages, we are giving Pregitzer Farm Market our #youautumnknow “The Family Tradition Spot” award. Keep reading to find out more reasons why Pregitzer Farm Market is the perfect fall spot!

Closing Review:
Aside from the year that Big broke his arm and needed surgery, we have visited Pregitzer Farm Market every year (that’s 7 years and counting!). This family-owned location is a true local gem, and you’ll find yourself looking forward to visiting every year. They have an amazing selection of pumpkins of all sizes, and some of the best prices in the area.
