If you have never visited the playgrounds behind the Lyle Torrant Center, then you are in for a treat. Featuring two separate fenced-in playgrounds, you will truly find something for everyone. The first playground is toddler-friendly with smaller climbers, other equipment, and plenty of fenced-in space to wander. The true gem, however, is the fully accessible and ADA-compliant playground. By now, you know there are a lot of places in Jackson County that we love, but the Lyle Torrant Center Playgrounds just might be our favorite new spot to play. Keep reading to see why.

Editor’s Note: Due to year-round school programs, these playgrounds are open to the public after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
