Hidden in the forest on North Lake Street in Grass Lake, you can find the magical place known as The Fairy Forest. Filled with glowing lights, whimsical items, and a whole lot of fairy magic, The Fairy Forest offers something for people of all ages (Big and Little both loved their visits!). It is safe to say that this is one of our new favorite places to visit. Keep reading for all of the Fairy Forest details!

Why we love it: When you enter through the perfect opening in the trees, you feel like you have entered a whole new world. There is so much to see and take in that it is impossible to list it all. We love the interactive musical instruments and the perfect reading nook too! The fairies have also told us they change things up seasonally.
Features: Reading nook, bench, fairy exhibits, colorful lights, water fountain, interactive musical instruments, a fairy mailbox with pens and paper to leave notes for the fairies, and a whole lot of magic.
“Big’s Review”: This is a good place to enjoy yourself. I enjoyed making music and checking everything out. Bring a penny to make a wish in the fountain, but don’t feed the gnomes!
Elizabeth’s Suggestion: Once you visit, prepare to return soon. Little has been saying “Go Fairy Garden” on repeat since our visit, and once Big saw our pictures, he insisted that we visit on his day off from school. Don’t worry, there’s a nice bench right in the middle to take a break and watch the kiddos explore.

Stroller friendly? There is not much room inside the garden for strollers, but you could park one outside the entrance.

Restroom? There is no restroom here. Grass Lake businesses are just a short walk away, so you may be able to find a restroom close by.

Parking? We parked across the street at the laundromat. There are also village parking lots just a short walk away, as well as street parking close by.
